We honored a special person on our campus last week.  Wednesday, May 9, was School Nurses Day!  Nurse Pam takes great care of us!  She gives us band-aids when we need them.  When we get sick and throw up, she lets us lay down on the purple bed and wait for our family to get here to pick us up.  She always keeps peppermints to give us when we need them during the day.  Thank you so much Nurse Pam for taking such wonderful care of us here at Eustace Primary School!  We love you!

Green Spaghetti

Mrs. Williamson and Mrs. Sutton brought GREEN spaghetti and meatballs to our school today.  Most of our friends liked it.  Only a few did not.  We wrote some sentences about our GREEN spaghetti and meatball day! GREEN spaghetti made a great snack!

I wish I could take a helicopter to.......

Today during our journal writing time we watched a short video of a helicopter taking off in flight.  Our journal topic then became "I wish I could take a helicopter to......" We would like to share our a small sampling of our hard work today.

We have right choice ceremonies on Wednesday mornings.  If we have 2 or more right choices, we get a star burst candy.  If we have 7 or more right choices, we get a principal prize.  If we have 15 or more right choices, we are a V.I. P.  If we are a V.I.P., we get to eat lunch with Mrs. Shaffer.  Our friend Brooklyn was the champion of right choices for the entire 1st grade! She had 17 right choices!  Way to go Brooklyn!
